Wake up for the ‘Small Minds’ – Haughty & Proud
(Humble – Ego-broken – Obedient to death)
** Blessed are those who mourn – for they shall be comforted.
Instead of holding on to the Past – Not letting go! ReMapping the Future! Living in the Now!
‘We will ‘triumph’ through our sorrows & rise to love You Still’) – (O God Beyond all Praising)
** Blessed are the meek – for they shall inherit the earth.
(Those who Listen, Submit & Obey – (not necessarily ‘the Martha’s – Who insist on doing it their way & not necessarily in God’s Plan)
** Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness – for they shall be filled…
(Noble, High-Minded, Honesty & Honor others – Care not Mock, Demean or Slander)
** Blessed are the merciful – For they shall obtain mercy.
(not Prejudiced-But Forgiving, Compassionate & Just) –
** Blessed are the Pure in Heart – for they shall see God. …
(Honest with – Integrity – no white lies or Political Correctness)
** Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(Love your enemies, pray for their ‘small minds’ to be saved – They are doing the best they can with what they have been given! Refuse to Refute or Argue – Just ‘turn the other cheek’- Let gossip go by – Do not Presume anything, hold grudges or Gossip (hate speech) Let God be your Vindicator!)
** Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, – for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(Truth Seekers – Know to hold on & stay firm as others mock & ‘talk about – talk about’ — Secure, Confident & Understanding
** Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you & say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
(Persevere in humility & gratitude – to be Able to survive unending attacks – scanning the environment to find fault to bring others down to their lower level! – With Perfect Understanding & not to Criticize or Complain)
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:3-12
They are words which form the very basis of all righteousness. They form the rock on which any believers efforts are built. And most importantly they were attributes which Christ had demonstrated in his life. Christ was trying, through this preaching, to draw men to the fountain of life and light and away from the darkness of human ambition and death.
And he said after he had spoken of the blessings :
be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
